Glad they didn't get away with your truck Nat! My beautiful white 86GMC 4x4 pickup was stolen out of my driveway when I lived in Chandler, AZ. That truck was babied, washed every weekend, polished every month and had all the cool stuff on it - my dad liked to give me truck accessories as my gifts (drove my mom nuts cause she wanted to get me girl stuff but dad knew I wanted truck stuff, now it's bike stuff). It had sat dead in the driveway because I was on a big project & drove the company truck for months. I finally decided I wanted to drive it so, put a new battery in him, filled up both tanks and tooled around town. Parked him in the driveway and the next morning went to head to work and he was GONE!!!! I had even yelled at the poor Hound Dog that night when he was barking, trying to tell me there was a problem. He loved that truck too. :whiner: It never was found, two tanks of gas would get it to Mexico pretty easy. Things like that make me quite happy to live on the mountain where people don't drive up our driveway unless they really really need to. UPS won't even deliver to our house! Don't EVER keep your garage door opener in your vehicle outside of your house!!! A friend of mine in Phoenix had 2 bikes stolen a few months ago when thieves broke into the car outside of the garage & used the opener to open the door. She got her bikes back but only because the theif lost them on the road a few blocks away. What a nightmare!
