I recently purchased some Klotz Foam Air Filter Oil Spray thinking it would be easier to oil my filter. The oil comes out like a foam not a spray. Its takes just as long to put on as bottle oil. My biggest concern is that the oil is not TACKY.

Question: Is non Tacky filter oil safe to use on a MX bike? I been using filter oil for 15yrs and never came across one that was not tacky. I am a bit nervous to use. What do you guys think?

I remember using some UNI filter oil that wasn't tacky and would puddle in the bottom of the air box and run down the sides of the frame. I think as long as the filter is moistened with oil you're good to go.

When ever you run out of that stuff, give No-Toil a try... you can clean filters in the sink (as long as momma doesn't find out)

Did you check it out later on? Some oils take longer to become tacky than others.

I ran into that same problem with the UNI filter oil.
