Find the clip and listen.

What's up everybody.
I purchased a 1999 YZ250 last Monday. I haven't
ever owned a bike before, but have riding experience.
My bike sounds just like the 2002 YZ250 coldstart in the youtube clip Listen to the bike from the clip and let me know if this is the way a decent running YZ should sound.
I tried to paste, but dirtrider spamkiller won't let me post the link.

Please search youtube using the words
2002 YZ250 cold start. listen to the bike.
Is this the way mine should sound?
Oh yeah, I got a manual
I changed
plug, air element, new mixture 32:1, and
air/mixture pilot 1 turn out.
It idles great after warm up.
Will change transmission oil a.s.a.p.
Seems to run strong for now.

That bike sounds a bit rattly. Possibly some piston slap? If you don't have any background on the bike it's worth a teardown.

I change the transmission oil
today. It was seriously low and a black grey.
I put in 750cc of some racing tran. oil
Then took it out and burned through 3/4 of a tank.
its running good other than that rattle.

I would like to tear her down next but never have
gotten that far with a bike before.

10 probably read your title and confused about it viewed. Once they looked and saw they didn't know the answer didn't just toss out a guess
5 probably realized you were to lazy yourself to describe the condition and since we do not go to the youtube site much less need to sort out the search skipped going that far (since YOU were to lazy to post a direct link)
4 probably couldn't make a guess from the youtube video and left it at that
1 (_joe_) may have been bored enough to follow your instructions and thought he could answer it so he did.

I'm one of the 20 that viewed, and I didn't feel like jumping thru the hoops..

I also do not waste my time jumping through hoops to see some video on youtube. I have better things to do so yes I viewed your origonal post and I had no opinion because I didn't feel the urge to research it further.
Now sit back and do a bit more reading and maybe you will last here a couple more days
