Hey everyone. My name's Jim, and I live in Japan where I'm stationed with the US Navy. I've never ridden a bike before, so I went out and got my first one to start learning. I ended up getting a cheap 2-stroke Honda CRM 250R which I love everything about. I know this is primarily a dirt riding site, but people in Japan use every kind of bike, even dirt bikes, as their everyday to and from work ride. That's also my intention. I'm really hoping this site gives me better insight into how everything works, and maybe some leads on some part suppliers and whatnot.

Anyway, if you want to know anything else, feel free to ask. Thanks!

Jim ;)

Welcome to the site

Be sure and go to your User CP and update information relating to your location, type of riding, etc. After that grab a spot on the couch.

We have at least three members of the Navy that are in Japan that ride. Hopefully they will pop in and say hi!

Again, welcome to the site and shout if you have any questions!

Jim, where are you in Japan? I was stationed in Misawa for five years. I know of some nice places (if they're still there) to ride. Enjoy your experience and learn what you can from the local riders.
