I just started fishing along the banks of a local lake here with my son. I don't care alot for fishing but he really wanted to go. Here TX about the only thing you can catch is catfish. (Or atleast that's majority here.)

I fish alot for largemouth bass. Its the only kind of fishing that has enough action to entertain my extremely short attention span. I have also been known to use catfishing as an excuse to drink.

I've gone out once so far this year...have a trip planned this summer for a 2 day camping/fishing trip with a couple of my relatives in Northern Saskatchewan, so it should be fun.

I used to fish a lot, but since I've moved here I haven't fished at all.

I really like to fish (not Preds type though  ) but I'm not too serious about it, as no one at our house will eat fish but me and the dog. :|

One of the fastest guys on this site loves to fish .... seriously. Plan a trip to hit some tracks, he wants to know what lakes are close by.

I like to fish from kayaks too. I have a heritage Featherlite Angler. I own a bass boat but it sees more wakeboards and skis than spinnerbaits. There is something about catching a fish in a boat that has you sitting level with the water.

Dad and I do a little fishing in the Monterey bay area. Fishing hasn't been good since we got a boat, though. I guess salmon season was pretty hot this weekend but we are down for a couple of days due to a valve deteriorating in our fuel pump. Here is the boat right after I put a fresh coat of bottom paint on it.

tossed some flies in this morning for a few hours 50 miles North of Seattle. Got completely skunked, not a bite. But there's definitely something "just right" about sipping on coffee from a stanley thermos with two fishing poles in the bed, a V-8 humming slowly on a country road and a little country music out of the reciever.

I grew up in that area and my sister works for DNR. She was out ok Kent Narrows for years but I'm not sure where she is, now.

How are the crabs running this year? My father mentioned he was going to put a few pots out.

I am in the upper bay. I come out of Perryville on the Flatts. . If it stays hot and dry crabs should run great from July to October near Sasafrass. We are planning to set 100 pots sometime this week and have 200 pots in the water by July 4th. I have heard the crabs are running good in the lower bay so it should be a good year for whats left of the Watermen.
