Hi Sorry about this i think my bike is running rich ( See low rev stutter thread) I want to check my float level. The Valve is fine but I can't use the system that is listed on the site to get the hight right as my floats have a pointed bottom not like the one shown .Any ideas about this thanks Jono

FSM says 0-2mm above the bowl matting surface ...special tool s70001-122 m18x1.0 bolt with nipple and a clear piece of tubing to fit..

the tab that contacts the fuel neddle needs tweaked up towards the top as the carb sits on the bike to lower the level in the bowl....

are you having fuel overflow??

the floats to me look flat on the bottom!!

are you shure your working with a stock carb?

Try this. Take the drain plug out of the bottom of the carby and insert a clear house that fits snugly. Starting with the bowl empty curl up the hose so it comes back up past the bowl gasket of the carby and then turn the fuel tap on. Make sure to hold the carby level. The fuel will flow up in the tube and eventually stop rising. Where it stops indicates your actual carbie fuel level Good luck.
