just cleaned my carb today, and i noticed that my float is tighter in the bowl. when i took off the carb, i could hear the float going up and down when i shook it. but now if i do it, it doesnt even move. is that a problem?
Yeah the float has to move easily. If you've cleaned the carb and got it back together you should be able to hold the carb in your hand and turn it upside down and hear the float move. Make sure the plastic peice that fits around the main jet is in correct.
well theres this piece called the float valve and i didnt notice it before until it fell out and i think i put it back in the right place so i checked it with the manual and im pretty sure i did but it looks like thats whats getting in the way of the float.
