Flywheel weight

How many people have added flywheel weights on their bikes? After riding a friend's CR250 with a weight, I'm convinced that I want one for my RM250. It smooths the power out and makes it much easier to trail ride. Having said that, I really don't want to pay $100+ for a weight. Anyone have a good vendor??? or one for sale???
