I'm new at riding in H/S.Rode in one at Carbondale earlier this year.
What's this place like.I'm planning on being there Sunday if it doesn't rain.

The course is on the the Army Corp of Engineers ground along the damn. The past two years the race is pretty much flat open course with a few sections of trees but mostly flat open fields. Still a fun fast flowing track. The AA, A and B classes did quite a few laps because of it. But the course was around 7 and 8 miles those years. I broke my arm in two places last weekend at the X-DB Spodefest so I am iffy for that race. But by the weather channel the race most likey will be cancelled. Paul doesn't have races when it races normally. But I might go for points as I need them badly, try to ride around with doing too much damage on me or bike.
The New strawn H/S is to be held at Carbondale I've just been told. The Info # is 785 836 9171. They say the'll put a cancellation message on their ans. machine by 6:00 AM.
