i need info on replacing fork seals on a 96 kx250. are all the expensive special tools a must? is the moose fork seal kit any good? i have the maunal but it doesnt tell you how to just replace the seals. :bang:
NO, you don't usually need the special tools, providing that you have tools that will do the job properly (there may be a bit of tool modification required).
I don 't know about the moose kit, I have no preference for seal brand.
Do a search here and on thumpertalk. I once saw an excellent write-up (which I have followed) and I am certain that the link has been posted somewhere on DRN.
