For those of you that wondered just what they look like..here's a pic of one with a goldvalve on it...NOT a stock setup.

Still, you get an idea of what's what.

Canyncarvr, When the gold valve is installed do you still have the adjustability of the compression damping at the bottem of the fork leg from the factory? Thanks - Lloyd

Yes the compression remains fully adjustable via the clicker on the btm. of the base valve.

I can't take credit for the pic, in fact it's really not even a kdx valve. :confused: It is from an article (a good one I might add) on installing gold vales on Planetklx.com The KDX and KLX use the same type of base valve even though the KLX's have inverted forks. The stock valve setup shown in the article is also like the KDX's. If you are considering Gold Valves it is worth checking out.--Dan
