I just got a '04 kx250 that has a brand new set of '06 RMZ 250 forks on it. They really soak up the big stuff with no problems. The problem is with the small stuff like 3" roots and rocks. Its like the forks don't give at all. Just sitting still and pressing on them they fill fine. Put a snap-tie on the fork leg and backed off on compression till I got it to go within about 2" of the bottom. About 10 clicks, also backed off on rebound about 5 clicks. It helped it alot but still to harsh in very rocky and root sections. I was told the high speed circuit was not right. I should order new shim stack. Whats your thoughts new shim stack or keep adjusting or something else altogether.

Is this bladder day or what?

There is a rubber bladder that surrounds the cartidge rod in your forks. Remove this and you will end up with a much plusher ride.

Do a quick search on this forum and you will find tons of information about how to do this.
