my fork seals have blow through...i think its from when i put it on my mates trailer we put them on ab bi ttight
anyway...my dad and i were wondering if this is a job we casn do our selfs OR is it a job for the dealer?
just take it too a dealer to do it!! i just had new seals put in mine and we tried to put them in all day!!, till we finally decided to just take my bike to a expert to do it!!
btw- you might want to invest in some shock savers!!
Why would tying your bike down tightly blow a seal when clearing a 120 foot double doesnt? Its a myth that tying a bike down with the fork bottomed or close to it, will blow the seals. If you dont believe me, and still feel the need for a saftey margin, bleed the air out of the fork after you sinch them down.
