The weekend of September 17/18th Jason and myself will
be hosting round 11 of the Forward Motion Hare
Scramble series in Blackjack, Mo. The race will be held Sunday 18th on
a 4000 acre ranch featuring prime singletrack Ozark
terrain, 2-3 miles of grass track, speed/radar gun
section to see just how fast you can run that sled up
to. The loops should run around 11-13 miles. For more info on the race(message board), see Kansasoffroad.com
Saturday's events will be highlighted w/ river
floating, BBQ/camping as well as KTM North America
will be there w/ demo rides on the 06 bikes from 10am
to 3pm. The official release to us from KTM is as
follows: "KTM North America will be onhand Saturday
Sept 17th with new 2006 models to demo." As far as
models, it is subject to availability at the time.
Regardless, big thanks to KTM and the participating
local dealers from the KS/MO area (which I will update
w/ a list of this week).
We also want to thank in advance Will Pattison, who
once again is helping out. Our series riders truly
appreciate your efforts.
Be sure to mark your calendars for this one, great
trail, demo the 06's before the magazines do and
partake in some Forward Motion racing!

BTW, huge thanks to Brian J. for getting in touch w/
the landowners and helping make round 11 happen. In
case anybody hadn't heard, things got real tough out @ Hamilton(Grindstone Motocross Park). They lost their court case and looks bad for racing out there. Also, big thanks to the local dealers that threw in their support to keep KTM North America interested in this. Call up Cycle Zone in Topeka, Letko or Freedom here in KC and tell them thanks if you can. Better yet, order something from them and keep our business close to home instead of mailordering.
