The PaceMaker Computer division of Aloop has a new owner!

As promised, we have an exciting announcement for Enduro riders and everyone interested in the PaceMaker Enduro computer. As of January 28th, the PaceMaker Computer division of Aloop has a new owner, and he's someone with perhaps the most impressive resume in the sport of Offroading. We're proud to announce that the PaceMaker computer is now being manufactured and distributed exclusively by Enduro legend Mr. Fred Hoess!

Fred has a truly remarkable background in Offroad Motorsports, including 19 years on the AMA National Enduro circuit, 9 ISDE Gold Medals and 2 appearances on the American ISDE Trophy Team. In 2001, Fred finished the year in 2nd overall in the National Enduros, and he's looking forward to another fantastic year of racing in 2002. Fred has been an enthusiastic user and supporter of the PaceMaker since 1990, and his knowledge and experience with this product under actual racing conditions is second to none. Few riders can match Fred's success in racing, and a PaceMaker has been there on his handlebars the whole time.

Outside of racing, Fred has an equally impressive background. He holds a degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology in Mechanical Engineering, and he specializes in Manufacturing and Super Abrasives. Fred has plenty of experience in software design, and his engineering connections will ensure a healthy round of new developments for the PaceMaker computer line.

"We intend to bring the Pacemaker Enduro Computer back to a leadership position in the sport of Enduro", said Hoess. "We will reestablish the PaceMaker brand as the preeminent name in Enduro timekeeping devices, and continue the tradition of innovation and performance that Aloop has established. If you like your PaceMaker now, wait until you see what we've got planned for the future".
