Front disc brake troubles

Hey, my front brake pads are rubbing the the brake disc without depressing the lever. Im not real sure what to check to correct this. Any idea on what to check to see whats wrong? Was I right in my thinking that they are not supposed to touch the disc brake without depressing the lever? heh

The pads are supposed to touch the disk LIGHTLY without depressing the lever. If they are touching more than lightly, you could have air in the lines or the front wheel could be misaligned in the axle clamps.

Ok, thx man, its not real bad, so it is probably alright. I am just not familiar with disc brakes so I wanted to make sure.
