Front Disk Wear Limit ?

Anyone know what the wear limit would be? I have a 97 250exc. I am having brake problems and my last(and most expensive) idea is to replace the disc.

Is it not stamped on the disk? If not the factory manual should tall you. I just replaced my front and it had 3mm Min stamped on it.

I will have to check and see if it says the limit. Any ideas on what symtoms a worn disc will have? Is it just decreased stopping power?

thats a good question your bringing up. i just bought a braking rotor and it says 2.5mm. fresh pads and proper bleeding really make a difference. as does front wheel bearings. I dont know what signs a wore out master cylinder gives but someone around here should.
I would freshen up all the little things before moving to the big ones.
