I have a cr 250and am looking for a new front tire.I was thinking about the michelin m12.I had a kdx 200 and had a m12 on the rear and a s12 on the front.I liked this combo for the kdx.Does any one use a m12 or a s12 on the front of their 250?which do you prefer?I am in maryland.I ride mostly near budds creek. It is mostly hard pack in the summer and mud in the spring and fall.what do you recommend?

Dunlop 742's up front, hands down. Despite being a softer compound, they still last plenty long as they are on the front wheel. The work very well for everything from hard pack to sand. The even hold up well the occasional rock. Their mud perfomance isn't good, but you can't expect a tire to do everything. I put a used 742 up front on my bike. It probably has 10-12 rides on it. It as still got plenty of tread left.
