fuel on/off

I got a ttr-125 for christmas and have a question about the on/off...

there are 3 parts on it (on,off, and res) my question is, which part has to be pointing to the words. (the short end, or the long end) on the switch there is a little part that sticks out and then a big part (here is an attempted illustration)

Put the long end facing the command you want. Ride if for a bit with the long end facing ON and then try it facing OFF. You'll see.

Yes, the long end faces the command. Refer to the manual if you need help, or play guess and check.
