OMG, do we ever feel toooopid now! :rotfl: That fixed the ol' generator problem.BSWIFT said:Have you checked the breaker on the generator?
Good point! Don't know what tripped it? Will definitely try to figure that one out too. Thanks much! :cool:gasgasman said:.........now you have to figure out what tripped the circuit breaker on the generator.
Always be sure that EVERY thing is turned off before firing up the generator and before shutting it off.
High Lord Gomer said:I would definitely suggest still doing the test drive yourself. Mine handled incredibly well from 20K to 55K, but just recently started feeling more "nervous" and "wandering" more going down the road. Another friend says his 30ft RV is an absolute pain to drive at highway speeds because it wanders. They all appear to handle differently (I believe it is wear and tear and/or setup/adjustment), so you need to test drive the one you are looking at.
Oh, and the 31ft Funmover *needs* the best possible tires made for the size they run. Mine is at (or beyond) the weight limit for the tires on the rear axle. After a few blowouts and searching the RV sites, I ended up with: http://www.michelinrvtires.com/michelinrvtires/productguide/newprod/TireSpecs.jsp?tread=XPS+RIBThe interior is perfect for up to 4 people.
The salesman :moon: at the RV place where we bought it from left the refrigerator on when he took us for our walk-through.gasgasman said:.........now you have to figure out what tripped the circuit breaker on the generator.

Thanks for reiterating the tire issue. Spent a ½ hour on the phone with a tire guy today. He too recommended either the Michelin XPs+ or the Goodyears, but since you haven’t had any problems with the Michelins, that is what we are going to go with too. What size did you buy?gasgasman said:I have to agree with High Lord Gomer on the Michelin XPs+.
I had 4 blow outs with the Fireston Steeltex radials. Let me tell you, it ain't fun.
The last straw was, when the tire blew out and ripped the black water tank in half.
The next day I went out and bought the XPS+. They cost me $180 each-well worth it!
Have had them on now for over 2 years with 0 problems.
Make sure your RV has a 20-ton bottle jack-RV manufacturers quit putting spares and jacks in their vehicles.
