What is a gas emulson shock? If there's a mixture,I'm guessing,of nitro and oil isn't that a bad thing.I'm thinking that's what I have on my xr 200.I know the early models had external nitro, and 93 on went throw away. Most of the threads here talk about todays shocks and forks.Unfortunatley,I'm dealing with yesterdays technology.Since this shock is heliarced closed the maual doesn't show any internals.I'm assuming it's also set up with a dampening rod like the forks.Actually it's not a bad little shock for trail riding if not pushed to much.Ignoranace is bliss. But anyway if someone could answer this question and use a comparison to a modern shock setup,ie;shims, piston, and function of seperation of gas that would be helpful for a beginner
