gas tank swap?

I was wondering could i put a 1992 rm 125 gas tank on my 1996 rm 125?

That picture doesn't do much without a picture of the other tank to reference it to.

If it would work it looks like you would deffinately have to use 92 shrouds but if your looking for more fuel capacity I found one on ebay. It was 3 gallon if I recall correctly.
