My 06 KTM 300 has had trouble with my transmission not changing down into 2nd from 3rd. I have split the cases and found that the dogs on one of the gears are slightly rounded (slightly being the point). See attached photos (i hope)

Was this likely to be the shifting problem?? as i thought worn dogs normally cause jumping out of gear.
how much rounding is too much??
is the anodising wear on the shift drum acceptable??
