On October 4, 2003, we plan to have a volunteer trail work day at
> Georgetown RD with the following projects:
>
> 1. Constructing trail bridges on the 9-16 and 9-17 trails. - 4
> volunteers, please bring carpentry tools.
> 2. Construction of trails 025 and NN7. 20 volunteers needed.
> Please bring your favorite shovel, pick or mattock. The Forest Service
> does have some tools available for use too.
> 3. Trail maintenance on the 11E17 Trail. 5 volunteers needed.
> Please bring your favorite shovel, pick or mattock. The Forest Service
> does have some tools available for use too.
> 4. Installation of a French drain on the Otter Creek Trail. 5
> volunteers needed. Please bring your favorite shovel, pick or mattock.
> The Forest Service does have some tools available for use too.
> 5. Clearing overhanging and encroaching branches along the Mace
Mill
> Road. 10 volunteers needed. Please bring pole saws.

> Please share this opportunity with your friends. We hope to have a good
> turn out of volunteers. We plan to meet at the Mace Mill Staging Area at
> 8:30 AM for project assignments. Please bring water and a lunch. Please
> wear boots that provide ankle support.
