Why so quite? Finally got to view the race, WITH NO CRAPPY SHEEHAN COMMENTARY! Much better. JS looked good, MA needs more practice(talking on camera), and the goon DV riding a 2 stroke!! That hurt watching AS get ran over like 3 times, ouch! The track looked awful, but better than later in the year for sure.

It mighte be so quiet in here because everyone was out for the holiday weekend, and did not listen to the live webcast.

I did not get to attend live this year, and then I missed last night's TV coverage.

I imagine the recent rain had made the track more rutted and rough, but the cooler weather had to help the riders a bunch.

For the national, that track is always tough; a real test of the riders and the machines. If your bike does not have the power, you will lose lots of ground on those long steep uphills, and the downhills really separate the men from the boys.

Oh they had some big gaps between riders. And badly one lined for an outdoor track. But it beat the heck out of SX! Tuesday the lites will air. Morning practice should not be to long for Hangtown.
