So I went to look at a bike tonight. It's a 1995 Suzuki DR650SE with 13,000 miles. It's been painted, has new sprockets and o-ring chain, new front fork seals, and a few other things. He said he would take $1500 for it. This sound like a good deal? The KBB MSRP is $1660 but the NADA Average retail is $795.
Other questions I have are about tires. It currently has tube tires which the sizes say Rear: 130/90-17 Front: MH90-21. They are street tires but I would eventually want to put some dual purpose tires on it. I can find 90/90-21 and 130/80-17 but cannot find the exact size. Would these fit? Could somebody explain the tire size? and if those won't fit does anybody know anything about getting the correct tire size I need in a dual purpose tire? All I can find in exact is sport/touring tires. Thanks
