There is a new virus going around today that attacks your outlook address book.

It sends an email to everyone saying Hi, take a look at this screen saver and when you open the attachment, it attacks.

Its hit us here at Sprint and is now making National News, so BEWARE!!!!

Got 2 of them from Longtime. The virus protection caught it though.

I also got another one from someone else but he subject was "Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Sierra". Anyone know anything about this one?

I got the one from the KCRiders Egroup but thought it was legit. It showed "Virus detected and removed", but our Email is set up to remove any .exe files regardless. Since screensavers are often .exe's I just thought I was missing out on a cool screensaver. Lucky me!

My firewall automatically quarantines any .exe or .ini attachments, a very handy feature. It makes you aware that you have received a potentially dangerous file, allowing you to scan it while it is in quarantine.
