gripper seat

I recently changed all my plastics to black and bought a sweet looking decal set. It doesn't look to bad, but a black seat would make it look so much better. I looked at black gripper seats, but they are a lot and I have a tall seat foam.

Is there somewhere I can get the same material so I can make myself one? Is there a special name for it?

Try Hydroturf in California. www.hydroturf.com I think I have samples of thier watercraft gripper material that is very simular to the bike stuff, maybe better.
