OK, WE did not invade Ireland, but I did. Steff's sister got married in a castle in the western part of the country. I'll post some pic's tonight, I need to clean up after Hannah thrashed my backyard :yell: and caused Steff and I to be stuck in Atlanta for a day/night/morning after we had the last leg of our flight home cancelled two friggin' times :bang:

Happy times, happy times...

It's ok though. I have some truly fresh Guinness and Kilkenny's in the fridge right now. :)

Ok, so here's the story...

Steff's sister wanted to get married in a castle in Ireland. So off to Ireland we went. I was the only one brave enough to rent a car with a manual tranny, and it was a trial by fire for the first two days. With the shifter on the left and the driving on the left also I had about 66 feet (20 meters?) to figure out the road signs and how to use the roundabouts. Think European Vacation :laugh:

We finally get on our way to Springfield Castle in western Ireland. this place was AWESOME! we even had Peacocks!

While we were there we took off one day to go kiss the Blarney Stone

some pics of Blarney...

Sadly I've had to shrink them quite a bit so DRN would upload them :(
the full size ones are awesome.

and I carried Steff to the top of the castle so she could kiss the Blarney Stone.
