Handguard question

Just broke down and bought the CRF 250X. Now I need to know which handguards would work the best. I had a pair of Acerbis Rally Pro's on the 450, but I want something that is going to fit a little better than they did. Also, I want something that is fairly easy to put on. Thanks.

I would check out Enduro Engineering. Everything I've heard about them says they make a solid product. Either that or maybe some Cycra's. I don't really think there's such a thing as easy to put on barkbusters. I know that my Answer Racing barkbusters took about 2 hours to finally get everything lined up.

Be specific about what type bars you have 7/8 or 1-1/8 size. and they will go right on in 30 min or less.

I use both th Acerbis Rally Pro and the Maier

I think the Maiers are the Woods XC ones. In any case, they are just the simple aluminum bar. I purchased the plastic that bolts to them separately.

I prefer this to the Acerbis for the following reasons:

1) Easy to bend to fit. You can't put all Rally Pros (or any other plastic hand guard) in a vise easily.

2) Cheap to replace the plastic. I have broken off a good portion of the plastic on the Rally Pros. You need to replace the entire set to fix the plastic. With the Maier's, I cna just order new plastic and bolt it on.
