Iam not sure how accurate those results are, i just checked the wire@amamotocross,com and Davi millsaps was in the 4 lap first qualifier, i checked before and found Stewart in 17th listed on a kx250f.

Rumor has it that this guy might win a championship in a year or two, if he could just get his lap times up there with RC & CR

He's out for a while from his Vegas crash... shoulder.

I did watch Vegas - I guess I just forgot. Or maybe it was the fact that it was on so late - I'm too old to be staying up until 2:00AM. ;)

alright i rechecked it and it doesnt show that stewart ran practice 1 it only says now that he ran the second seeded practice which i find weird. i doubt unless he crashed or there is some injury that isnt in the public that that is his real time i think the 3 is supposed to be replaced with a 2 on the 233 but thats my guess. also im pretty impressed with reeds time

Something is weird,
Eric sorby had better lap times than Stewart but ended up in the 2nd gualifier which he won with Millsaps 2nd in the 1st qualifier.

"minor" bike problems?? Are you kidding me, we have had a few weeks to get a bike ready and team green has problems? interesting.

Perhaps it just isn't dialed in properly yet (obviously the settings on a SX track and MX track are going to be different)???

Stewart did half a lap in first practice, then he had a mechanical problem. His bike sat in the mechanics area while they worked feverishly to get it working for all of the practice. He got to do the last lap of 1st practice. Then during second practice he did 3 laps, wich he was swapping and casing thigs, just didn't look like himself. Pulled into the mechanics area to have some tuning done, was in there about 5-8 mins, comes back out does half a lap and endos pretty hard in a whooped out corner in the infield section.

I really don't think Millsaps is ready for the big bikes yet, he should have waited another year, he is gonna crash alot before he gets used to the big bike.

Team Kawasaki’s James Stewart did not mount a transponder to his bike, so his times were not recorded, but his practice sessions did not go smoothly. In the first session, Stewart had engine problems and pulled in after the first lap. The bike’s petcock reportedly was clogged and was starving for fuel. In the second session, Stewart struggled with suspension settings, which he will try to resolve during Sunday morning’s practice.

I'll bet you a dollar that "Duke" finishes in the top ten in one moto this weekend.

Stewart In Total Control.. Sunday Practice #2

James; 2.19.702

Ricky; 2.21.359

Reed; 2.21.383

Millsaps; 2.24.953

Preston; 2.27.575

Looking at the best lap times, it seems like Chad is not through with Ricky yet, still has some unfinished business.

No doubt about it, he has the speed to make the podium but raw experience. Ricky and James went through it and had stayed in the lites a little longer than Davi but crashed alot in their debut on the big bikes. Davi is a future podium guy if he stays on 2 wheels and healthy.
