hard to start?

I have a question,
When at operating temp., I turn my bike off and try to kick start it and doesnt start right away until about 10 kicks(04 yz125).This happens only sometimes. Bike is bone stock.

A bike that starts easy cold and hard when hot indicates a rich pilot jet usualy. Do you need to use the choke when starting cold? If the problem is sporadic then it may be something else.

Yes, I do need to use the choke when cold.
