Just returned from H&M, we rode the Buffalo Mnt. Trail which leads into the town of Matewan. We stayed on all the Green Trails which were fairly easy except for two mountains which had some from steep uphills & downhills, My 7 year old made it, with some help on a few of the steep areas. total ride was about 20 miles one way. Lots of turn offs on the trails which would of made for a longer ride, but they were too difficult for the little guy. Overall it was a great ride, extremely nice people. Also got to ride downtown & eat on our dirtbikes. The parking area at the trailhead seemed very secure with a ranger at the station to give you your trail pass & give you advice. I would rate this trail system very good to excellent, very well marked, although about 3miles proably should not have been marked as GREEN which is their designation for a EASY trail. other than that it was a great ride. We plan to go back and try the Dinguss Rum Trail Head next time.
