Im 5'8", bout 120lbs

Currently ride a rebuilt and modified 93 KX 125.

Found a 02 YZ 250 in MINT condition with around 3 rides since rebuild (Topend, bottemend, graphics, plastic, fmf pipe, fmf silencer, protaper bars, renthal sprockets/chain) along with 10 quarts of synthetic oil and what not for only $1500.

I don't have years of experience on my 125, but I can throw it around fairly well. I don't do anything crazy, and Im not pushing the limits of the 125. The main reason I'm considering picking up the 250 is because of price and value for the money.

Would the 250 be throwing me overboard rideability wise?

Thanks

It'll be a big step up from your KX, but that's a good price. Just use some common sense and take your time getting used to the YZ and you should be fine.
