I bought a 12V 50W 38 degree rated "aftermarket" bulb as I my local dealer does not stock the stock "12V 35W" replacement bulb. My question is will using a 12V 50W instead of the 12V 35W cause anything to blow up???:uh:

S spanky250 Mod Ban Dec 10, 2000 1,490 1 Dec 26, 2001 #3 As long as the lighting coil produces enough current to power the bulb, you will be fine. If the coil isn't strong enough, the bulb will be dim, but no damage will occur.
