Headlight Wattage?

How do I figure out how much many Watts are available at my headlight? I have a multimeter, I just dont know what to do with it!

In case you are wondering, I want to install Acerbis DHH headlight, and would like to know how many Watts I will be able to power.

I think a 30 watt headlight bulb and the tail light is about all the stock coil can handle.

The only way I got my ufo twin headlights to work was using a 75w lighting coil and pulling the tail light, it has twin 35w bulbs and kills the stock lighting coil.

Hey Sage, is that 75 Watt lighting coil stock? If not, where is it from? Or will mine put out 75 Watts?

According to Baja Designs, the stock stator puts out 45 watts. They can rewind your stator to put out up to 120 watts.
