Thanks Reon for all the info. I am needing to replace my second one. My shock is in for service so I was checking out my heim bearing and noticed the Teflon was coming apart. I pull it out just Sunday so here are some tips: Heat it a little. You WILL ruin the seals trying to get them out. I had to use a chissel and knock the outer part of the seal inward to cave it in and pull it out. I used a 15/16", 1/2" drive socket with a bolt and nut and a steel plate to pull out the bearing. Once it gets even with the housing I put some steel spacers behind the plate to give room for the bearing to come all the way out. Just take your time and be carefull. BTW. If you don't already have a guard to protect the housing from the mud flap, check it for wear. Erider has one, but I took a plastic button about 1/2" around and attached with double sided tape. It keeps the mud flap from touching and I had it sitting in my tool box. FREE.
