hi all

i just purchased a 04 yz450f and i need the basics
what maintenance needs done how often and with what products?

also i need a manual really bad can anyone help?

-Change oil and oil filter every 2-3 rides or 1-2 races.

-Soak, clean and oil your air fliter every 4 hours of ride time

-Lub chain a couple hours before riding. I take my chain off as needed to soak and brush clean.

-Check/adjust valves. I check my valves every five hours of ride time to make sure they are in spec. I keep a log of the clerance and this helps me keep an eye on the top end.

This is a list of the simple mantinance that I do to my 450. If you do these simple things your bike should be good to you.

what brand of oil filters and air filters do you use?

I use hi flow oil filters in mine, they work pretty good.
