I Am New Here

I currently do not have a dirt bike and I am kinda new to them. My friends all have them though.

I was just wondering I have been wanting a dirt bike but I only have about 1,000-1,500 to spend. What would be the best kind to get for that money? Model Year Make

Also I know there is alot to know about dirt bikes but where do I start?

Or can I get a GOOD dirt bike for that price?
