Help, bleeding shock oil and bladder replacement

Hi guys I’m new to these kick a$$ forums, I have a 2000 KX 125 and I would like to change the shock oil, but I need some help. Are you supposed to replace the bladder every time you let the nitrogen out of it? Also what is the best way to bleed the air from the oil, I have done all my fork seal and oil replacements myself but I’ve never touched the shock I always have my local shop do it. :ride:

had to do this not long ago on my kdx and its not too hard to do.

How are you going to charge it back up with nitrogen ? Do you have the stuff to do that ? I'm getting ready to do my sons KX85 , we have nitrogen cylinders at work , we charge hydraulic accumulators pretty often.

Alot of tire stores have it now, though some dont have the pressure capabilities you need. Worth a shot though.

You'll need somewhere around 150 psi for the shock. I did an older Kawasaki Kayaba shock recently, it was a piece of cake. I even opened it up and changed the seal.
