Frame code is 3R6-004622

From the searching I did, it seems to be a 1976. However, it doesn't appear to be listed on the yamaha page. Would like some help identifying the year so I can see what engine/electrical parts are interchangeable with other years. Mainly the CDI and such.

thanks

Arsist, i love the 1080 for the fact it is a cross bread from the 70s to the early 80s. The suspension is great and the power is fun to ride.

now to get it running.....hehe. Should be interesting. The electrical was all removed so I need to find the ignition system.

Would you happen to know what year of CDI and coils are interchangeable?

thanks

thanks.....it's right side drive. Thanks for clearing up the parts for me. Wasn't sure if the 82-83 electrics would work. Should help in finding parts.

Arsist, yes. The pipe will not but the engine should bolt right in. The chassie parts are also the same. If the engine is running you should take out your engine and give the 125 a chance. It produces better bottom end with less top hit.

the 125 makes better bottom end than the 175?
Interesting, I own an IT200 and have been very impressed with the bottom and tractorbility

84cr500lover, the porting was alot different on the 125 form the 175 and the 125 and 200 have alot heavier flywheels then the 175.
