Hey everybody -

I could use some help picking out an ISDT Reunion legal bike that won't bankrupt me. Last summer at Mid Ohio I almost got a really nice CAN AM TNT 125 Qualifier; all there, including the leather bags, except the silencer was missing. The guy never came back to his area in the swap meet and I had to leave.

Anyway, what would you suggest? The Pentons seem to be too pricey, and the old Tacos have me a bit scared from a reliability perspective. Conventional wisdom has me thinking about a Yammie or an MR Honda, but the euro bikes were so much better in that era.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

You didn't mention Husky, and that would be a logical choice. Personally, I have a soft spot for the Bultaco Frontera - either 250 or 370. Not as highly strung as the Pursang. Got a chance to ride a 250 and thought it was very nice for its day.

Other fun atlernatives if you can find them: Rokon, Hercules, Ossa, SWM, Maico, MZ, CZ.
