Yes, it does. The "powerband" is not a part...you can't really wear it out, break it or replace it, though it can be "changed" (i.e. altered or modified). The powerband is a term referring to the way the engine makes or distributes its power, over the rpm range. An engine that makes increased power over the entire rpm range is considered a "wide" powerband...mostly common to bigger bores. A bike that makes a huge increase in power but over a narrow rpm range (like most small-bores), would be considered a "narrow" powerband.
