help me pick what bike to get.

pretty aggerssive.
3) what do you plan to ride- MX/SX tracks, woods, fields with friends or ?????
woods,fields with friends without maybe get into a lil mx.
4) Do you have any riding experience?
i used to ride dirt bikes alot i have had a yz 80 kdx 200. i have rode alot of atv's just sold my raptor 660.
5) Do you think you will race ?
maybe later on.
6) Are you mechanically inclined and will you be doing your own bike work?
ill be doing all the work on my bike.
7) Do YOU have a preferance to a brand/ motor choice (2 or 4 stroke)?
2 stroke.
8) Do you have a dealer close by your home that you might use and what brand(s) does he carry?
not really any brand kinda open minded right now prob a yz tho.
9) How much ($) do you plan to spend on a bike?
6k or less.

i really just dont kno if i should get a 125 or a 250. i dont want anything to powerful or too weak. i havent rode a yz 125 or 250
ive rode a rm 250. but im open to any bike.

yz 250, you seem to like yamahas, you definately would be better off with a 250 then a 125, and with 6k you could easily get one that is almost brand new. although i believe that they stopped making them, am i correct? yz 250 all the way.

you dont think it will be to powerful of a bike? the rm 250 i rode was a 94 so it was older. but yeah i was figuring a 250 cuz im pretty big.

Go with the YZ250 hands down!

You sound a lot like me(around the same size/weigh and aggressiveness and what you want to do) You would get bored of a 125.

I love my KX250. Wouldn't trade it for anything..(well.... maybe a newer 250)

And 2008 is the last year Yamaha is making the YZ250 (i think, 08' or 09' ) You can get a brand new one for just over 6k. (you can get brand new older ones for cheaper 06/07 models)
