Help! Rear Brake problem 99 YZ400F

Hey everyone,

I'm hoping someone could help me. I have a 99 YZ400F and have had problems with the rear brake locking up. The brakes won't lock on when it is first started but lock up after a bit of riding which slows up the bike and makes it hard to push the bike. Does anyone have any ideas why it would be doing this?

I was also wondering if i change the brake calipar, could i use a 00 YZ125 rear calipar?

the pins that hold the pads are worn and have grooves on it... whenever you change the pads you should also change them...

these are stainless and should last longer...

What i don't understand is that once the bike cools down the brakes free up again..

that´s the way it works... as you know, when metal gets hot it expands, when it cools it contracts... :cool:
