Make sure the kill switch isnt shorted out to ground, also check the pulser, source and ingition coils for resistance

I would start by checking for spark myself. If there is indeed no spark then get an ohmmeter and check all the wires associated with the ignition. I had a wire break inside of the insulation one time and it took me forever to figure that one out. If everything checks out then head to the dealer to see if you can get specs for testing the stator.

It seems the ignition coil is knackered, do i need a special tool to remove the fly wheel?
Or will a couple of screwdrivers behind it work?
Can you give me a pointer to where i may buy the flywheel puller(if req).

Do not try to take it off with a screw driver.

Use the right tool i bought mine in Kennedys in Drogeheda for 15 euro and if you know Kennedys you know the are VERY high prices.

You can get the old coil tested if you go into City Spares in Dublin they were a great help with me when i had sparking trouble.

Any question just ask or PM me.
