HELP...Too rich off idle

Its a 1998 rm 125, its the strongest 125 ive ever owned and ive had a lot of them. The only thing is that it its too rich off idle and it wont hardly idle. Even when i start it after its warmed up, it acts like the choke is on at the off idle point, everywhere else it runs like a beast! Like if im putting around and just ease the gas, like not even 1/4 throttle, its too rich..Ive turned the air screw and its not changing things much..Ive completely tore down and cleaned the carb and air cleaner.. Top end is fresh and as i said, its a beast everywhere, just too rich off idle, any ideas?

Sounds like you need a smaller pilot jet. Do a search for Spanks jetting guide, it will help you get it sorted out.
