HELP with Brake Light

I have a 1978 DR 125 and with the bike was a headlight and a taillight. Well I'm turning it into a street legal bike and I NEED a brake light. Is there anyway I can wire my taillight to also become a brake light or am I better off investing in a REAL brake light? Thanks guys!!!

You would need a switch on the rear break assembly to trigger the light. My old light kit had a replacment bolt for the rear master cylinder that had a pressure sensitive switch in it to turn on and off the brake light.
