I did until i broke it. :( I ripped the rubber boot going from the carb to the motor, time to make a brace, and find a new rubber part for that 1974 bombardier engine. this will be fun. ill update my thread.

And welcome to the boards dan

Nice area. My buddies family was from Johnstown area. Not far from Lake Raystown(I think that's how you spell it). The hills are beautiful down there.

I'm from Butler too. I live near the community college.

I've mountain biked a lot and that gave me a chance to check out some trails. I just bought a WR250R and like to explore.

If anyone knows any near-by places or low-key places id love to hear about them or possibly ride if you don't mind me behind while I get used to my bike. I did a 5 hour ride Sunday and had a blast. Hit 3 different places. Slowly getting used to my bike more.

dude, we need to go riding some time, i work at the burger king (ya haha :| ) like 2 miles away from there. I know a good bit of trails and stuff around here, but haven't really had a chance to ride to many of them. But I'm supposed to get a new bike in the next couple of weeks. And that will fix that problem.

The slippery rock dunes aren't to far from butler, and its a cheap fun place to ride. www.slipperyrockdunes.com me, _JOE_ and kschilk have ridden there before. But not togeather.

Cool. I got the left over 08 that was at zanotti, they actually had the best price, surprisingly. I looked around for a while. I was riding just across the road from your work and up the hill for a bit. What are you looking to get? My friend in High School had a KE 100 and he beat the crap out of it. It was a solid little bike.

I've never been there. We were supposed to go last year and my co-pilot bailed. I hate driving that far alone. I'm gonna try like hell to make it this year, I wanna ride the kart.

oh, joe i thought you went, well you need to go. Find someone to come with lol. And the dunes are open now, and so is switchback.

I have a KE100, and damn is it beat up. Its just that beater bike, i got it in pieces, and put it togeather just to ride. I never replaced the air filter, replaced the oil once, and i had it for 5 years. Put a new top end in it though. it is slow, but it was somethign to learn on.

And i want a 1999+ KX YZ CR 250. i found an 02 KX250, and a 04 YZ250 in my price range I'm going to go look at.

Good luck with finding a new bike.

I had a 78km100 which is the same as that ke100. I rode it for 4 years and it never skipped a beat. I was 10 and my Dad didn't help me take care of it. It didn't get much of any maintenance. Great little bike.

And are there good trails up there? it looks like there was a tabletop but i coulden't really see it that well where i was.
