Anyone know the trail conditions mid-state Higgins Lake or the Denton Loop? I haven't ridden up that way since December, and wondering if it's worth going that far North to ride yet.
As far as I can tell there is still snow anywhere even with or north of clare.
The only ORV with no snow yet is Gladwin, Holton, Cedar Creek and Horseshoe.
If you want to ride this weekend you are going to have to take a chance and drive up and check it out., After this weekend there will be many trail reports available as many adventureous souls will be checking out the trails.
I'd say another 2 weeks and most everything in the lower 2/3 of the lower pennsula will be ready.
Just my guess and based on past experience, the snow melts very slowly in the woods even with these beautiful days.
